Cookie Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how BinoBet Casino (“BinoBet”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and other small data tools on our website and mobile apps (the “Platform”). It also tells you how to control them. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

1) What cookies are

A cookie is a tiny text file placed on your device by your browser when you visit a site. It remembers small pieces of information—your login state, a language choice, or that you closed a banner. On mobile, software development kits (“SDKs”) can play a similar role. We also use local storage, session storage, web beacons (pixels), and device identifiers where needed.

  • First-party cookies come from BinoBet.
  • Third-party cookies come from another domain that provides services we use, like analytics, security, or payments.

2) Why we use them

We use cookies and similar tech to:

  • keep your session secure after you sign in;
  • run payments smoothly and protect them from fraud;
  • remember preferences (language, accessibility);
  • measure how features perform so we can fix bugs and improve;
  • tailor parts of the experience (e.g., show recently played games);
  • respect your privacy choices and store your consent settings.

We do not use cookies to change game math or odds.

3) Legal basis and your consent

Dutch ePrivacy rules and the GDPR/AVG apply. In practice:

  • Strictly necessary cookies don’t need your consent, but we still describe them.
  • Non-essential cookies (analytics, personalisation, marketing) require your consent.

You set your preferences in our cookie banner and later under Account → Privacy → Cookie preferences. You can change or withdraw consent at any time. If you say no to non-essential cookies, the Platform still works, but some features may be limited.

Where supported by your browser, we also honour Global Privacy Control signals for marketing-related storage.

4) Categories we use

Each cookie or SDK is assigned to one of these categories in our consent manager:

  1. Strictly necessary (required) – Security, session continuity, load balancing, consent storage, core payments.
  2. Preferences (functional) – Language, region, accessibility options, in-product hints you’ve dismissed.
  3. Performance (analytics) – Page load times, crash diagnostics, navigation flow. We prefer aggregate or pseudonymised data.
  4. Personalisation (experience) – Recently used features, suggested sections. Never changes game outcomes.
  5. Marketing/communications – Measuring reach and frequency of our messages on our own properties.*
  6. Security & fraud – Device signals to detect bots, account takeover, or location spoofing (e.g., VPN/TOR).

* We do not sell personal data. Marketing categories are disabled for self-excluded players and people listed in CRUKS.

6) Email pixels and in-app messages

Marketing emails may include a tiny image (a “pixel”) that tells us an email was opened. You can block remote images in your email client or unsubscribe at any time. In-app messages may rely on the same consent choices you set for cookies.

7) How to manage your settings

  • Cookie banner / CMP: choose Accept all, Reject non-essential, or fine-tune by category. Change anytime in Account → Privacy → Cookie preferences.
  • Browser controls: block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. This may sign you out or reset preferences.
  • Mobile controls: reset advertising IDs and limit ad tracking in iOS/Android settings.
  • GPC/Do Not Track: where technically supported, we treat GPC as an opt-out signal for marketing storage.

8) Third parties and data leaving the EEA/UK

Some cookies come from third-party services (analytics, crash reporting, payments, CDNs, security). If they process personal data for us, they act as processors under contract. If they act independently (for example, compiling industry-wide metrics), they provide their own privacy notices.

If data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on legal safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, and we apply additional measures where suitable (encryption, access limits). See our Privacy Policy for details.

9) Children and protected users

BinoBet is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies for minors. If you are self-excluded or listed in CRUKS, we do not use marketing categories for your account.

10) How long we keep things

  • Session cookies disappear when you log out or close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies last from minutes to years, depending on their purpose.
  • We keep a consent log (what you chose and when) to meet our legal accountability duties.

11) Security practices

We protect cookie-related data with TLS in transit and restrict access on a need-to-know basis. We do not store sensitive information such as full card numbers or passwords in cookies or local storage. Security and fraud tools may create device tokens to spot risky behaviour; these are used under our AML/CTF and security obligations.

12) Changes to this policy

When laws, regulator guidance (Kansspelautoriteit or Dutch DPA), or our Platform change, we may update this policy. We will post the new version and, if needed, ask you to review your choices again. Historic versions are available on request.

13) Quick glossary

  • CMP (Consent Management Platform): the tool that records and applies your cookie choices.
  • First-party / Third-party cookie: who sets it—BinoBet or another domain.
  • Local/Session Storage: browser storage areas used by websites and apps.
  • Pixel / Web beacon: a tiny image file that signals a page or email was opened.
  • GPC: Global Privacy Control, a browser signal expressing privacy preferences.
